Brixton  £6.05 Pravha The Trinity Arms is located on a peaceful residential square in the backstreets of Brixton. The nearest Tube is Brixton, it’s a five minute walk to get here. This Youngs pub was built in 1850, it would seem to have been a part of their stable of pubs for all this time. Looking at the exterior tiles and stonework, it was probably remodelled in the 1930’s, the latest refurb was 2016. The decor here is traditional with a contemporary upscale feel. The main bar is “U” shaped and has a centrally located servery. There is plenty of seating throughout with a mix of banquettes, booths and stools by a drinking ledge. There are some nice decorative touches like the fireplaces, wall cabinet and various black and white photos of Brixton of old. Upstairs is a dining room, at the rear of the pub is a secluded beer garden complete with a warm large fire-pit, there is also additional outdoor seating at the front. The beer selection was solid and included three Youngs cask ales. I decided on a pint of Pravha, my pint hit the spot, price point was average. The food menu is British pub classics, Fish & Chips costs £18.50, roasts are available on a Sunday. I arrived just after 1pm on a warm Saturday lunchtime in August. There were a fair few punters sat out front and in the beer garden, the main bar area was chilled and relaxed. The service was great, the team here are friendly and made me feel very welcome. @thetrinityarms is a welcoming backstreet pub that has a lovely local pub feel. The beer offering will please most and is reasonably priced and there is plenty of grub on offer. The surroundings are comfortable and you’ll be well looked after. I enjoyed my visit here and would recommend a visit. ℹ Info correct on visiting 03.08.24
Came to have some food and it was delicious! Chef Niko did a great job. Their Sunday roasts are also banging! Recommend 100%Food: 5/5
Great pub. Hosted a wedding party very well and catered amazingly.Food: 5/5
About 10 minutes walk from Brixton centre and the Victoria Line tube. I visited on a quiet Sunday evening. With very few people in the pub... Atmosphere was a bit dead. Very nice interior and the pub is in the current CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2024. However I'm not a fan of Young's beer and the London way of serving beer with no head. Maybe I'm being a little unfair. If I return to Brixton I'll give it a second chance.
Met up with a friend for lunch. This pub is fairly close to Brixton underground. We had fish and chips with the usual accompaniments. I had a Shandy, she had wine. Everything was delicious. The staff are very friendly and warm. Nice place.Food: 5/5
I’m a lover of trying new pub quizzes so I stumbled across London to try this Brixton pub… It was disappointing to say the least. Despite it being a quiz brand that we’ve seen used before, the host Kat? was not the most enthusiastic host, clearly had favourites and ignored people who beat others to spot questions despite bar staff seeing while giving others who didn’t get the task first extra shots The pub has a nice vibe and decor but the extremely high price of drinks are also off-putting which bring the rating down further especially considering it’s not on the main stretch more residential! I will commend the amount of outdoor space front and back! Will likely not be back here
Great place to hang out, especially for work team meetings. Tried the triple cooked fries, which were actually quite nice along with the apple cinnamon crumble with custard.Food: 4/5
I had an amazing time at the Trinity Arms! I celebrated my 30th birthday and the service was brilliant and the staff were so friendly especially Julien! Coming back for sure xFood: 5/5
It was really lovely welcome as we went in. We sat inside as it was cooler, but there was plenty of seating both out the front and in the rear garden. Service was good, and hubbie enjoyed his beer 'Brixton low voltage'. We went for roast beef, roast belly pork, and good ol' fish and chips. Plenty of food on the plate and really tasty, the best pub grub we've had in a long time. Pudding, O go on then, sticky toffee Pudding and a brownie
We had a birthday lunch o n 17th August for a 78 year old. He enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did. The food was lovely. It was our second visit and won't be the lastFood: 5/5
