Great little pub in Brixton with live jazz music. The food is pretty good and the drinks are reasonably priced. We had two mains and two pints of cider and it all came to about £30. I'd recommend the Ital curry if you like veggies and you fancy something warming & coconutty.
I’ve spent the best Thursday evenings here, great staff, nice atmosphere and a fantastic jazz band!
One of the best bars we happened to stumble upon during our time in Brixton. The staff here are friendly and the clientele that comes in are welcoming as well. Nice selection of beers will keep you here
Best jazz/reggae/afro music venue. Seriously, they get great players down here and it's no admission. Also great food.
Great atmosphere, tucked away from the main drag of Brixton. No fuss live music supporting bar. Good time Wednesday night with regular shows from the fab Errol Linton and band
If you want a great evening with top food an relaxed atmosphere this is the place to visit.. but if you turn up on open mike night your in for a epic experience! Great house band always lifts the roof.
Such a great pub. Jamaican inspired food and tunes. Live music most nights. A bit off the beaten track. Beautiful building. Almost don't wanna review it to let others know...
Absolutely great pub especially on a Saturday night when they have a live band cant remember the quartets name!. Reasonable prices for drinks in a lively, friendly and warm atmosphere which also offers Caribbean inspired cuisine. Give it a go!
You standard locks pub. Nice staff.
Went here briefly, was bloody packed and everyone looks at you when you walk in. Was a nice layout of the area, and the building itself seems to be a 1911 Old General store with the original signage at the top. Was a OK place I did not get to stay as football was on and was way to roudy for my partner as she suffers from anxiety
