Absolutely shocking experience with the nurse, Marion! Ignored me when I walked in, sat down and said hello. She even huffed when I asked for a blood test. She made me feel so uncomfortable that I had dared go in for an appointment. If I said anything, she didn't respond and just ignored me. I was only in there a couple of minutes. I hardly ever go to the doctors, but have had a similar experience with one of the doctors there. No acknowledgement when I walked in, didn't even look at me when I sat down, both appointments I wondered if I had walked into the right room. They all seem very unhappy to be working at this surgery!

I have been a patient at this surgery for approximately 5 years and the service and waiting times have got progressively worse. On a couple of occasions on turning up for my appointment, I have been told that the Doctor hasn't arrived yet and will be running late or that the doctor isn't coming in today and they are trying to find a replacement...so I can wait if I like! Waiting times are very often between 45minutes to an hour. Last time I was at the surgery I was told I won't be able to have a prescription for medication I needed urgently as this could be purchased over the counter at a chemist, despite the fact that I am 20 weeks pregnant, entitled to free prescriptions and on a low income. I was informed by my local chemist that this is down to the gp's discretion and that they can in fact write prescriptions for over the counter medications.

There are so many locums that it's the luck of the draw with this place. We've had some lovely experiences with our young baby and others have been horrendous. I've come away crying at times. The male, older doctor is particularly unpleasant. Always a long wait. We've never been seen on time.
