I used to be a nervous patient until I came to this surgery. I had several bad experiences at other surgeries in the past which made me avoid the dentist all together until I needed some fillings replaced and my teeth straightened. From start to finish my experience of this surgery has been great. I booked a consultation with the Treatment Coordinator. She walked me through everything I had requested and booked an appointment with the dentist. The dentist I see is Vishal Patel along with the dental nurse Charlotte. They're both very professional, thorough and make the whole experience enjoyable! Their room is always clean, music is playing in the background and quite importantly they engage with you as a person not someone they want to get rid of. I'm very happy with everything they've done for me and even happier that because of them I'm not nervous anymore. I also saw the dental hygienist Laura who I'm equally as pleased with! I would definitely suggest this dentist and especially all the people I've dealt with. I look forward to my next visit.

Myself and my 2 children have been registered at this practise for a few years now. My husband is not registered and I enquired a couple of weeks ago and was told that new nhs patients are not being taken until April. Over the weekend my husband was in terrible pain with tooth ache. I phoned this morning and asked if he could be registered and have an emergency appointment as I noticed the website said for a limited period new nhs patients are being registered. It also states that emergency nhs patients are accepted. I was told he could only have an emergency appointment if we paid private! I questioned this with both the receptionist and manager and was left with no option but to pay for private treatment or be left to suffer in pain. £40 for a 2 minute appointment, £10 for the pleasure of writing a prescription and a further £6 for antibiotics for an abscess leaves me feeling very bitter having worked and contributed to the nhs all our life. Your website is very misleading with regards to nhs patients! On a positive note the dentist and his nurse were as lovely as always.

Wonderful dentist and nurse. I have had a fear of dentists since I was 16, and have had dentists in the past that have only made that fear worse with bad treatments and being inpatient/rude with me. The dentist here was patient, kind, understanding and didn’t make me feel embarrassed or silly. He offered lots of revenues to go down, and explained things really well. (I had two fillings with no needles, took him a while, most other dentists in the past have been really inpatient with me)I hope I have this dentist forever! I’m looking forward to the next 12 months with my Invisalign with him, where before I was very nervous and dubious! The dental nurse was just as lovely too. The lady I initially saw for my Invisalign appointment was really nice and helpful. I found the receptionists average, Neither displeased or pleased. I recently had a Hygeinist appointment too, and the lady was brilliant. Nothing hurt whatsoever and now I’m more than happy to visit every 6 months. She gave me some info on keeping my teeth perfect which has changed the way I clean and floss forever. The surgery is spotlessly clean and the rest of the staff seem nice and cheerful. Very very happy overall! ☺️

I was having an, at times, painful experience. The receptionist booked me an appointment within 24 hours, and the problem (an abcess) quickly diagnosed and appropriate treatment prescribed. At the follow up, I was given professional preventative advice. I am just awaiting costings by email. Overall, a satisfactory and professional timely service.
