Lovely food. The customer experience was fantastic. We arrived on bikes and were unsure where we could put them safe. The owner came out to us, showed us around the back and let us bring them inside. He was kind, put up with our faffing as if it wasn’t a problem and gave us exemplary service throughout.

Used to visit this restaurant frequently. It's sadly lost its charm. The staff were unhelpful and seemed disoriented. The  dining area seemed to be under a massive refurb so booths were falling apart and someone was painting walls right next to other diners. We were shown to a booth where we had no way of using a pram nearby for our baby and as she's too young for a high chair, I had to hold her and eat at the same time. We were told to leave the pram elsewhere. The food was adequate, but very cafeteria-like. Such a shame.

Formally known as Jenny's. Excellent home cooked food. You can have food to take away. Their lemon meringue pies are about 12 inches high and if you like potato salad then theirs is the best we've tasted.
