Really impressed with Allports Fish & Chips! The food was fresh, hot and delicious, but what stood out most was the excellent customer service.nnAs someone who looks for halal options, I asked about how the fish and chips were prepared. The lovely girl working there - Trinity - was incredibly helpful and actually took the time to show me the separate fryers for the pork, fish and chips. She also confirmed that the fish batter is completely free from beer/alcohol, which gave me real peace of mind.nnI really appreciated her taking the time to explain everything rather than simply saying it was okay. That level of transparency and customer care makes a huge difference.nnThe fish and chips were great, and the service was even better. A special thank you to the girl who took the time to show me everything — she was genuinely lovely and helpful.nnWould definitely recommend Allports and will happily come back again!
We has 2 large cod and chips, 6 chicken chunks, and 2 potato scallops, plus curry sauce and mushy peas. Food was all excellent. Especially worth mentioning the batter which was the best I remember having. Staff very helpful and friendly. Happy to recommend without hesitation.
Excellent fish & chips. Very efficient service, and all cooked fresh to order. Superb chips crunchy bits. Crunchy batter, and not too thick. It’s great that they offer hake as well as cod. A top place.
They've got scallops! Not the shellfish sort. The battered potato sort. Not seen them since I was a teenager back in Brum. Great haddock, chips and curry sauce
The service was so quick. I got my order literally 30s after ordering. The chips were crispy and fresh and with the curry sauce , it was next level .The staff were so nice. The guy did a great job serving us. Definetely recommend .
