Superb haddock and chips. Light crispy batter, fish beautifully fresh and tasty. Chips on the done side which Is how I prefer them. Plenty of crispy bits. These folk know their spuds!

Food Ordered - Special - 2 Piece Chicken and Chips - £5.50, Price seemed a bit steep compared to what I am use to back home. Chicken size was small, taste was nice too but tasted like generic chippy southern fired coating. Chips also nice, I did how ever get a lot of scraps. Overall, Nice average food, priced as expected for a small holiday town. Would eat again if I wasn't very hungry.

Best fish ive ever had from a chippy. The batter tasted good also. Chips a little brown but tasted good.

Good chips .efficient staff Don't keep you waiting long like some chip shops. Nice bit of fish.

Visited late afternoon recently. They don't do battered sausages on the menu, although it does appear they are prepared to batter and re-fry sausages they have already cooked, but seemed the staff felt inconvenienced when asked, so decided not to bother with that and just had some chips. They were a little over cooked for me and generally average in taste unfortunately, particularly for what seemed to be rather a high price for the portion size compared to where I usually go. Maybe it was the remains of the afternoon batch or something prior to the tea time rush, but either way that is what there were like for me.
