Lovely place and delicious food, you have to order from the cafe counter, but they will bring the food to your table. The wait time was a bit long but it was worth the wait. I will 100% recommend the loaded fries it's more than you expect, trust me. The other dishes we ordered were hunters chicken and jacked potato with ham and cheese.nnThe parking behind the pub is for train access and we were not allowed to park there, however there are plenty of parking spaces nearby behind the shell nearby the pub, we paid 2.20£ for 4h parking
Standard pub grub; burger bun was burned and it took quite a long time to come. Good beer and amazing surroundings at the Ffestiniog Railway.
I had the beef burger which is likely the best one I've had on my UK trip so far. Really good tasty meat with all the trappings. The chips were good. The beer excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive to all the patrons. How does it get better then having a beer while watching trains?
Lovely place to sit and watch the little steam trains. Gets very busy the Sunday lunch looked impressive. Beer was good
Not sure about the food as they dont let dogs inside. The dog friendly pubs and restaurants in town must be laughing at the amount of trade they get from people turned away from her. I guess they didn't need the £90 worth of food and drink we spent a few yards down the road...very surprising in a tourist/walking area but each to their own I suppose....
