The Point Bar & Grill
"Point a operates daily, May to October weather permitted. A location that etches itself permanently into your repertoire of memorable experiences -Point a has it all. Phenomenal view. Sensational cocktails. Superior gastronomy. The proximity with Athens’ best known landmarks-is better described with just two numbers, 289 and 85, , the Herodion’s distance in meters from the Acropolis and the New Museum respectively. The bar also serves as a gallery showcasing some of Greece’s most talented artists and sculptors, scouted from the neighbouring El. Marneri and Technohoros galleries. Admire the bar’s famed mixologists indulge in sublime alchemy, or linger a little longer to savour Point a’s scrumptiously innovative summer menu under the stars."

This restaurant topped our list of all the outstanding experiences we had in Athens. The views were breathtaking. The service was impeccable. The food was extraordinary. Our server, Nicholas, was terrific. We have visited restaurants all over the world and few have provided a more fun evening than Point A. I have paid three times as much for an experience half as memorable. I recommend it.
A spectacular view of the Acropolis is what entices one to book dinner here. Having said that, the restaurant itself and the experience is not to be found wanting. The staff and our waiter were quite good; he was charming and attentive whilst not overbearing. The food was delicious, the only fault being that our mains came to the table somewhat cold; however, our waiter offered us two tasty Mastika shots and dessert on the house. Speaking of dessert, order the Mousse Trilogy or forever regret it; it was divine. I’d certainly consider coming back next time I’m in town, if only for the views alone.
what a view to dine with the acropolis just right there in the background. if you go for dinner you can watch it lit up as it gets dark and it's stunning. we were there on a windy day which wasnt ideal but the restaurant had warm blankets for everyone. the food was delicious, so well presented and loads of flavour. we had a beautiful bottle of red and everything was priced very reasonably.
How nice is it to be able to enjoy the beauties of our city at places like this, surrounded by many astonished visitors who try to capture as much as they can from the unique moment they are experiencing. How nice is it that we can return here anytime we feel like it! Everything was nice, everything was right. The dish that received the most compliments from my party was the seafood carbonara.
Chose this restaurant by location and reviews, by some quirk of fate it ended up being sister hotel /restaurant to our hotel. You have to enter the hotel and make your way to lift top floor. Once on rooftop we were approached and asked for reservation name and promptly given our table with amazing views of the acropolis. The view is worth a visit alone bit the food is amazing here and the wine is exceptional too. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Best Meal in Greece! This was absolutely the best meal my husband and I both had in greece. The drinks and salads were delicious - tempted to order them again! We LOVED the pasta dishes and have been talking about them for the last week!
Location is Awesome, good food and choice of wine, splendid views of acropolis especially the Sun set times, it is on the Top of 5th Floor. Wonderful Atmosphere. All this is Wonderful. But the service was appalling, the service was so Bad despite all the Good things, the service goes down. Wouldn’t definitely recommend anyone going there.
Came for a drink and to watch the sunset over the Acropolis and Athens. Did not disappoint! Great views of the city and excellent cocktails. We stayed for dinner, which was also delicious call for reservations!. A little windy and chilly, so definitely recommend bringing a sweater.Atmosphere: 5/5
Very nice Acropolis view. Interesting coctails and bar bites. We tasted a delicius creamy cheese with rose flakes and cockies! Cool music to chill, talk and enjoy your moment! Polite and friendly staff.
I would recommend going to this restaurant for the view first of all. Then comes the food I can recommend octopus carpaccio, green salad with strawberries, fava tart, fish carpaccio with green sorbet. Sea food pasta is not really coming with sea food, you can see only small pieces, which is not enough to call it a sea food pasta. Poached cod was ok, but nothing special. No vegetarian options for main course. The service is not very professional, you have to ask several times before you get what you want. The staff doesn’t really know the menu very well and don’t seem to be attentive: for a vegetarian they brought smoked eel after we specifically asked not to include it in the dish it’s a decoration on fava tart. The wine selection is quite small.
