Fantastic pub, great service and cheapest prices around

Not helped by works of some type going on right outside, but I thought the place looked a little dreary outside and in. However, I suspect this is more a nighttime pub and we arrived very early evening. No real ales available, so decided not to stop, but barman was helpful and friendly.

Popped in on Saturday afternoon, nice and quiet before the evening rush, and a luverly pint or 2 of the black stuff. The landlady wont be too pleased if I mention that she spilled my first pint...

Brilliant band on sat night and friendly pub.Also Jackie the landlady was a star and got my phone back.jackie went out of her way to help me,made a couple of calls,not many people like her around...thanks again
