My new favourite place to eat. Food is amazing. Staff in the restaurant very friendly and always welcoming. Never had a problem with parking as there are two car parks. Always manage to have a space in the small front car park so don't have to worry about driving round the back. Food always comes reasonably quickly too.

It's an amazing restaurant with a menu that suits most people. The food is very good, and there is indoor and outdoor seating. It is appropriate for people of all ages! They also celebrate birthdays.

I like the Plough lovely food great service! but every time I go there I am greeted with a long list of food and drink that they have run out of! Which is a real disappointment! I went there about 6 months ago and had the best pot of mussels and ever since I keep thinking I must go back there and have that again so tonight we did and they had run out! most annoying! They had also run out of Sausages, Brownies Vanilla Ice Cream, Bailies and about 4 other main courses which I can't recall now ... Lovely restaurant but sort your stock control out!

A very welcoming environment, even on a freezing Tuesday lunchtime to a complete stranger to the area. The staff even know the regulars by name and I was 'sir', which always comes as a pleasant surprise to me. The lunchtime steak sandwich and chips was excellent: medium-rare was, indeed, medium-rare. Of course, as the kind of guy that I am, I'd have been happy to see a larger (and necessarily costlier) version of the same sandwich, but that's simply a suggestion and in no way a criticism! The only slight thing was that the car park was a bit lethal: the previous day's snow combined with low overnight temperatures and a lack of salt meant that some sections were still sheet ice even in the middle of the day and, given that the predominant patronage were the elderly, then there is, I think, an increased risk of someone falling and injuring themselves. A little grit, or salt, would go a long way to resolving this...

Excellent service!! We were a party of 8 and ordered starters and mains and they all came up perfect timing. Food was excellent - could not fault it. Great atmosphere and a lovely helpful waitress so would highly recommend this lovely pub.
