There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to the food, however the staff and atmosphere more than makes up for that. Great place to eat, the pool table was a great addition.

On my last visit on December 23rd there was entertainment by the way of a man making balloon model's for the kid's who was very funny entertaining the young and adults alike, he even made a balloon Tommy gun for my 18 year old as well as a giraffe for my young daughter. Usually the entertainer is only there on a Monday evening so as we were celebrating Christmas it was a pleasant surprise for us. But usually the food and service are excellent and this occasion was no different, if it wasn't good value with great service we wouldn't be as regular customers as we are.

i've never eaten here so can't comment on that, however if you want lager, this is probably a good place to come, if you want real ale, don't bother, i've tried on various occasions and never had a decent beer yet. Expensive for what it is.

Lovely evening at pommel . No complaints from us . Food always nice and hot . Never had any issues with items not being available . Service great as usual .
