Finally a real Italian coffee shop!! So many different croissants flavours, the chocolate ones is phenomenal and completely full of Nutella. We tried 2 different slices of pizza, Margherita and ham&mushrooms and were both amazing for the price less than £5, the coffee was nice, a good taste and smell of Italy. Highly recommend
Nice deli with really smart decorations. The food look really nice and the croissant are really gorgeous. I remove a star because it's a shame to have a nice croissant with a nice decoration and to have in a paper bag for take away. That destroy everything and make difficult the act of eating. Box will in future a better idea to preserve the beauty of these croissants. Except that, I encourage to come to eat and to take a good coffee.
Absolutely a disaster from the start, no one and managers included had no clue what standard basics customers service looks like: 1 Waited 10 minutes at the door and not even been acknowledged 2 no drinks menu 3 the waitress dropped all cutlery on the table with no tissue 4 cakes served on coffee plate 5 d10 table cleaner chemical is sitting next to cutlery 6 this place looks like rubbish , very disappointed as I’m Italian and I was really looking forward to try this new place 7 luck of organisation and no professionalism 8 no food hygiene : using same gloves to wash plates and taking food with THE SAME GLOVES and chucked the cake on a plate I’m going to stop here, this is absolutely a joke, I wish you a lot of luck with your new business, rest reassured, you won’t see me here ever again, and considering we are living in Canary Wharf, we will make sure everyone will be aware about this place; Have a wonderful evening Deborah
New cafe in Canary wharf.. is immaculately clean and has great selection of croissants.. terribly expensive but goodFood: 5/5
Hi all. I would strongly recommend against going to this cafe and would rate zero stars if I could. I understand with Covid restrictions many places have stopped accepting cash payments however a cafe should still accept cash. A CAFE does not take cash??? How ridiculous. Furthermore when I went to the till the girl serving me told me the croissant was £4 something but when I said that I wanted to dine in instead the price of the croissant was higher. Why because of “VAT”. Utter nonsense if you ask me. Why so much just for me to have a croissant and a tea. Lastly this place is run by children. No sense of management just a bunch of young teenagers merely there for the money and no care about their job. There was one lovely girl who spoke to me and kindly answered my questions such as what’s the difference between an americano and flat white but the overall staff experience were rude and showed such an attitude. Avoid the red haired supervisor at all costs as well she was extremely rude and unpleasant to speak to. Overall I hated my experience and will never be coming back. It’s a a shame since I work close by and would of become a regular
I went to the place yesterday and ordered slide of ham & mushroom pizza for take away. It was £5.4. When I came to pay, a waitress charged me around £1 extra. When I asked why the price is different, she said that they adding additional tax on the till. I wasn’t informed about it before that the price will be different. That’s unacceptable! I never saw something like this. I really wanted to cancel my order but I was hungry and rushing to work so I didn’t have time to go somewhere else. Also pizza was disappointing. It was soggy and undercooked. I wouldn’t recommend this place…
Their croissants are PHENOMENAL. So many different flavours - pistachio, raspberry, Nutella etc. I had the Nutella and it's probably the best croissant I've had in my life which I appreciate is quite the statement to make. The staff are really friendly too, which is always nice :
Terrible experience! I ordered a panino and asked for it to be rather hot and unfortunately I received a cold sandwich. What's the point you asking me how I wish you to tost it if you are not preparing my order as instructed? Client service level is so poor it made me embarrassed that I had to be served by 3 people including a manager. Plus don't shout to me 'see you soon' when I already left the cafe because it's simply rude. I'll be back soon but few meters away, in Brera, they do it better.
Dropped by for some lunch today to a really warm welcome from all the staff. Decided to go for the parma sandwich, great quality and value for money. Will 100% be returning
This place has very nice and genuine products, like focaccia and cannoli are really good. We had their food a few days ago and we were really surprised from the quality. However today, we came here for breakfast, we asked the girl at the counter if we could take a sit, and she said yes, we open in 2 minutes. We ordered two sandwiches and two cannoli and another girl said we can't take a sit as they open the seating area in two weeks. We bought and paid our food anyways, and we went back home to have our sandwiches. Unfortunately, the bread was clearly not fresh was rubbery in the inside and hard on the outside this time, and salame and mortadella were tasteless. We are disappointed from the last experience here, but we might come back in the future to give it another try.
