Story

Bluebelles of Portobello serves homemade, artisan fresh produce. Whether its our Caravan coffee bean filtered through a soft water La Maazocco or hand kneaded Sourdough breads baked fresh, our attention to quality is paramount.

Set in a distressed kitchen living room, our coffee shop is becoming widely known for its warmth and atmosphere. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and tea you will always find something new to try and return for. Be sure to arrive early on weekends to get your favourite seat.

I recently visited the restaurant for breakfast, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I enjoyed a delicious oven-baked omelette that was perfectly fluffy and packed with flavor. Paired with a smooth flat white, it was the ideal start to my day. The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall warmth of the place. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a delightful breakfast in a welcoming environment!
The food was incredible, delicious and big portions. The service was even better. Even though the place was full, we managed to grab a table shortly. We were waiting for more people who ended up taking much longer than expected, despite this, all the staff were incredibly nice and understanding about it, something we really appreciated. We will definitely go back.
I stumbled across this eatery while looking for a brunch option on Portobello Road. I was immediately welcomed and seated. I ordered a cappuccino and these delicious fried eggs with avocado, ‘nachos’ and a tomato based pepper and fried potato fry. The food arrived quick and hot. It was absolutely delicious and the portion size was generous. The baked goods looked delish as well but I was too full. Will definitely visit again!
I was craving chocolate cake soooo badly and this really was perfect! Definitely on the rich side, but that's exactly what I wanted. The texture was so good with cherries in it so it was moist and the icing went very well with the flavours. Super lovely staff and I would definitely go back!Food: 5/5

The stack front, English breakfast rear. Terrible photos. The stack did have everything stacked up, looked and tasted great. Rosti about 10cm diameter, not buttery, not crispy on the outside, it’s ok, not to die for. Eggs are yolky in the middle, crispy on the outside. Ripened avo. Nice breadless option. Coffee was great. Had oat latte. Americano was apparently nice too. Sunday walk-in, just before 11am. Didn’t have to queue but started to get busy soon after 11am. My new neighbourhood fav.
Had the avocado toast as well as the omelette. Both dishes packed with flavor. Staff were also warm and looked after us really well. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
The best place to visit in Portobello. I loved everything, from food to service. Food was super tasty and the best pancakes ever. Even tho was quite busy they managed everything quickly and smoothly. Thanks to Jan who was dealing with my special enquiries and made everything perfect. Really good price for the value which you receive. Highly recommended.

Nice place doe a sunny day. The menu has lots of varieties, we took some deserts and coffee. The orange cake is almost the best in town. The coffee portion is very small though.Food: 4/5
