Beer tasted like vinegar, gently , quietly said to the mature barmaid it was almost empty, so no one around and she said offhandly said nobody else has complained, they were all drinking Lager, I saw she had no people or business sense , so left , the cellar person needs training. I do not go into other Pubs and say anything about it . January 2022 . Lots of money spent on it , in and out . New owners , fabulous food , great beer , all Football matches, clean kitchen and toilets . Very posh inside.
Used to be great but now it's gone way downhill. People smoking weed outside and people doing drugs in the toilets. Used to be a nice place to go even go as far as say family pub but I wouldn't go again, food quality is low.
The manager was very abrupt when we was in there today. Having a quiet meeting and we was all going to buy food until she came out and said that we was not aloud to have a meeting without asking first which ok maybe someone should of asked prior to it. But the way she spoken to us she has lost a lot of food orders. We just all walked out.
Massive, Warm, Decent pint, pool tables a bit rough but they have one, food is ok, it's miles better than you'd expect for where it is. Decent way to waste a Sunday afternoon.
Great night in the presents of some of the great British boxer's of all time and entertainment from the former world boxing champion John H Stracey. Brain Snagg a great host. Looking forward to the Mersey Beatles on the 2nd March where there are still a small amount of ticket left.
Not a bad pub plenty of room and outside room as well beer not dear and very drinkable would go again
An okay pub, but seems to attract all the colourful characters of Kenny, in one hour I saw two arguments, a fight and a guy selling stolen goods table-to-table.
Nice friendly atmosphere, disappointed to hear it's closing down shortly : Enjoyed Friday night kareoke here, DJ was great, excellent bar staff, had a throughly enjoyable night here!
Been taking over again it's gonna take a lot to get it back up to the standards it was 8years ago but on the other hand the staff are lovely and it's the regulars that make a place
Staff seemed somewhat disgruntled, the cola was cheap rubbish. The ale selection is average and the place is not the most welcoming.
