Great atmosphere! When we walked in everyone looked at us as there were only locals in the pub. But they were very welcoming- everyone wanted to show us the second room, play with us or at least say hi! It was heartwarming and made our stay in the neighbourhood quite special. + they serve my favourite black fruits cider and the prices are great!
We came in as a first visit to Liverpool, and we felt so at ease, and Gina was amazing. So welcoming, and amazing. I couldn't imagine a better welcome to liverpool, and a better lady to serve us! She deserves a raise! We will be back 100% x
Nice friendly bar staff, classic pub, pool for 50p and nice cold beer. Great little visit.

Great old school pub. Proper pub with proper prices and welcoming staff behind the bar. Locals are very friendly, even to a southerner like me. A must visit if in the area.
Table service only, wear a mask playing pool or walking about. Great people to talk to free juke box.
