Maid Marian House is an excellent student accommodation—cozy, friendly, and affordable. The rooms come equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, very close to the bus station. The staff are extremely helpful and kind, especially Shirley, who personally assisted me during my time there. She was always supportive and consistently offered help.
I had a fantastic experience staying at Maid Marian House! The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. A special thanks to Shirley, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and always made time to address any questions or concerns. Her friendly and supportive nature really made a difference and added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend!
This accommodation is nothing less than excellent. During my stay I have always felt welcomed and understood by the staff members. Any questions if any were answered quickly and with my interest in mind. The accommodation itself is spacious and provides all amenities that a student could wish for in Nottingham.
Amazing place to live, very convenient to NTU. The whole team is incredibly helpful. I must mention the great Monica, who waited for me for half an hour after her shift ended, just to help me finish my application. Shirley and Natalie are also part of the amazing team!
I was locked out and one of the staff, called Shirley, came and kindly opened my door for me. She was really nice and even gave me a dig in box.

I have recently just moved in and think Shirley deserves a special mention for how helpful and kind she was. She helped me bring my stuff to the top floor on what felt like the world’s hottest day.
My application was cancelled due to something I had no control over and I’ve lost £160 resulting in that. The application takes way too long and half of the guarantor requirements are unnecessary. Also after I read all those other reviews about maintenance, lifts and no hot water. I’m glad it didn’t work out.
The apartment is located near the castle, and you can have a nice view if you looked out the window. I also want to commend the staff Monica and Shirlega for very kind and helpful.
Worst accommodation ever DO NOT BOOK. The whole accommodation had no hot water for a month, the floors leak water consistently, the accommodation managers and receptionists are rude and don’t care to help fix or resolve the issues. Packages get stolen and left outside. Don’t waste your money. Literally worst experience ever
