Look no further if you're in the area. It's our go-to restaurant when we are visiting family nearby. Fabulous home cooked food,with quality ingredients, served with great service and warm friendly staff. Warm yourself by the log fire on arrival. It's a little gem that is so easily overlooked when driving by. It also has a great variety on the children's and vegetarian menus.
Where can we possibly start with this exceptional place?! We had our wedding meal here back in April 2022 and we couldn't have faulted the service. Our guests were blown away by the delicious food and pleasant staff. Perry and Darryl were brilliant throughout the lead up to this meal, catering for our needs and they certainly finished off our perfect day! Thank you
Smoked haddock pasta, such a delight, all meals enjoy as always , but fell in love with the smoked haddock pasta. Staff welcoming as always. Served by a lovely young lady, who I neglected to ask her name, she was a delight. Looking forward to our next visit xxFood: 5/5
Great traditional restaurant. Food is top quality and the customer service is excellent. Check out their menu for some old skool favourites.
A gem of a pub,drove past it many times when leaving motorway,,never thought to call in, really glad I took the time to go in today. Had the 16oz porterhouse chop with mashed potatoes. excellent, I'll definitely call in again,,,Food: 5/5
absolutely beautiful food, staff are amazing and so so welcoming, never ever too much bother anything you ask. Have been coming here for years for our Sunday dinners and will be going for years to come.
Both food and service at the Parkbrook are excellent, nothing is too much trouble, service always with a smile and efficient. Sunday lunch highly recommended much better than a Carvery chain, you won't leave hungry or disappointed, make sure you book as it's always busy !
Had the scampi here sunday lunch when it arrived I thought it was for my grandson. Felt rather hungry when we left. Maybe need to up the portion when it comes to scampi. Had scampi at a few places and got up to 12 pieces and also large ones, got 8 here and were very small. Will still go here but maybe try a different dish.Food: 3/5
Hosts were very welcoming , it was a freezing cold day, as it is a very old building, well decorated throughout, and wonderful christmas decs up , i was a little cold,. This couldnt be helped, all roaring firs and radiators where on. Enjoyed a festive afternoon tea with friends Will visit again without a doubt
