First time having Sunday lunch here and got to say its 10 out of 10,food was delicious and piping hot,we had the half roast chicken dinner then followed by apple crumble and custard,couldn't fault any of it,will definitely be eating here again
Went in here for lunch , we could see it was busy with a Wake in the bar area …place looked really clean and the staff looked busy.nWe looked at the menu and decided that the baguettes were the right choice as they didn’t need much prep and probably would be too long …. I went for the Halloumi & red pepper and my wife went for the turkey & stuffing …. Anyway 20 mins later they arrived , probably the worst food I’ve had in a long long time .nBoth meals had a handful of frozen chips with them , some cooked and some not so cooked , the baguettes were the part baked type and hadn’t been baked for long enough . Anyway my Halloumi was the cheapest of cheap frozen Halloumi sticks and were just warm , the red peppers were tiny pieces and cold . The turkey looked like it had walked it from Bromsgrove and then been kicked to death on the car park , I’ve never seen meat that dry !! Nothing was good , not any single part of the visit .nI just wish they’d have said “ look were too busy go somewhere else “nTerrible experience
Attended a wake this week took ages to get to cuppinco not luke warm black coffee with milk sachet on side they were still putting food out when we arrived and as we were leaving about a hour later and most people had eaten chips chicken and other hot food was being brought out and miserable looking staff
It’s an amazing pub the food is brilliant and the staff and so so nice and friendly I would really recommend going for a pint and food
The food is excellent the staff are brilliant the new head chef is awsome very friendly pub thank you
