Lovely place, held my daughters 21st birthday meal at this place, we had the function room to ourselves, the staff were very accommodating, room was set out as we wanted it, food was exceptional, everyone enjoyed it and commented how lovely the room was and food. No complaints all. And a BIG thank you to KIM who was our main waitress, she was very helpful, service with a smile. Thank you Bentley Green for a wonderful afternoon & evening.
Friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was nice. It was busy with families and Christmas parties. Reasonable price on cocktails. However the food was underwhelming. We had the Christmas menu and went for the two courses. I had the turkey burger. No garnish, no vegetables...just looked unloved. For the price I expected a little more love and care on the food side. Kid-friendliness: Kids food options are good. Staff were friendly with the kids.
Pleasant staff, food better than expected, however still many options unavailable despite other similar styles restaurants having them all back in stock. Enjoyed the mixed grill.
The staff were amazing, some things on the menu were rather poor, steak and ale pie was really just like a cheap shop bought pie. The biggest problem is the short measures at the bar. They are serving pints in 1 pint glasses, not line glasses. My cider has a massive head on it, like an ice cream, when it settled it was well short of the rim. On my second night in the bar I requested a full pint, but it was still shy. When it is over £5 for a pint, it should be a pint. Watch you bill, they had to make 2 ammendments to the bill, to change two overcharges, lucky we noticed. Breakfast is a little inconsistent, day one it was served with one of each item, day two it was served with two of each item, like the picture on the menu. Two nights at the hotel with the meal deal was nearly £300.00 I expected better.
Had a fantastic night our server Andrea was amazing will definitely be back in the future. Food and drinks were amazing medium rare steak was perfect.
Perfect place to catch up with friends. Great atmosphere and decor. Chose from the lunch menu, great value. Friendly efficient service, food well cooked & presented.
Been here a few times now and this is the third time in a row now the service was way below any standards of acceptance. Decided to go festive and eat off the festive menu. Had the Turkey dinner and I was indeed disappointed. The sprouts were not trimmed, still had there storks on and we're not thoroughly cooked. The turkey slices were very dry and has to remoisture them with the gravy. The red wine gravy that came with the dinner. The red wine gravy that was supposed to come with the dinner had nothing about red wine to resemble it and was bland. I was missing pigs in blankets on my meal. The roasties are advertised crispy but arrived sloppy and oily. The stuffing was one tiny little abysmal frozen ball that's shoved in the oven for 20 mins. The only thing pleasant about the dinner was the Yorkshire pudding with some cranberry sauce. And to add, my wife had the beef wellington. What is a beef wellington if it's just pieces of chopped up fillet steak lobbed over a thin slither of pastry with hardly any mushroom pate. It's was presented on the plate deconstructed and not as advertised where it's supposed to be wrapped in the pastry properly instead of just being thrown on top of pastry. Does the chef even know what a beef wellington is if it's coming out to service looking like that. What an absolute mess and shambles. I had waited over 30 mins for starters and nearly and hour for the mains. Did not stop for dessert because didn't want to wait another plus 30 minutes. They gave us 50% off the mains at the end of the visit but that didn't do the service any justice. I keep.going back to give them the benefit of the doubt and just think it was a bad night but after three consecutive bad visits. I will not be returning to this branch. And the atmosphere from the other negative customers off too off-putting when all me and my wife wanted was a nice sophisticated night out over some wine and nice food. The service was more sloppy than the roast potatoes. I'd avoid this place if you don't like waiting on unnaceptable times between meals. You'll only leave dispaointed with plus £70 down the drain
Staff were very friendly and polite. Restaurant was clean and well presented with Christmas decorations. Once ordered, service was slow including drinks, but the restaurant was busy. Food was OK, but arrived luck warm on cold plates. On the whole, a good catch up with friends, but not sure we would go back there for a while.Food: 3/5
Had a lovely evening here today with the family. We all enjoyed it. Lovely atmosphere, fabulous waiters - very friendly and professional. Food was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Would 100% recommend. Dietary restrictions: They catered for my little boy who had a dairy intolerance. Gave us the book to look through to see what he could have.
A very warm welcome place. Situated next to a hotel. Parking is ample.Upon entering you will be required to enter your registration number to validate the parking for up to 3 hours. There is a good variety of drinks available ranging from top shelf to draught beers. The staff are very pleasant indeed. A gentleman by the name of Corey I found to be most pleasant in his approach to customer relations and service with a smile. Alongside a very pleasant bar maid whom also goes out her way for customers. The food variety offers a good range of food from snacks to a variety of steaks. The food was excellent and well enjoyed I would highly recommend dining here. The atmosphere is relaxed and ideal for families to dine here with children without any hassles or drunkards. Kid-friendliness: Nice open plan. An ideal place to take your family to dine. Parking: Large carpark plenty of spaces. Although parking must be validated upon entering the beefeater. Wheelchair accessibility: Does cater for disabled clients.. open plan for dining so shouldn't be much of an issue
