The Oxfordshire Museum

Story

Situated in the heart of historic Woodstock the museum features display of local history, art, archaeology, landscape and wildlife and explores the county's innovative industies from nanotechnology to nuclear power. Imaginative new exhibitis include an interactive children's dinosaur gallery, Victorian Oxfordshire gallery and 3D tresaures display.

Our aim is to collect, record and preserve objects which help people to understand, enjoy and be inspired by the County's heritage.

A very interesting afternoon. Well worth a visit especially The 'Soldiers of Oxfordshire' exhibition. Could have spent more time.
