The interior and exterior is lovely, the staff are really friendly.  We ate Sunday lunch which was great and massive.  If 2 people like the same meat they do a sharing platter, which makes the main course about £6 cheaper between 2.  My starter and dessert was also great.  The staff were also great with my 4 year old niece.  There is a 'great' theme in my review, because it was great, it is definitely worth a visit.  It's also dog friendly in the bar, except Friday & Saturday nights and Sunday lunch because that is their busiest times and dinners spill over into the bar.

Really warm welcome, nicely decorated inside. We had the kebabs and they were lovely and massive! Was a nice stop off after visiting the Roman ruins

I went with some friends for Sunday lunch yesterday. The service was chaotic and really slow. When we eventually got our main courses they were cold. We were afraid to send them back in case it took another hour for them to reappear. Very small portions for a relatively expensive lunch. It's a lovely place and was very busy. Maybe we were just unlucky....
