Clare is absolutely FAB!!! she’s so warm and welcoming and can’t do it enough for you! Easy parking right next to the hotel, windows block out noise from the road quite well, service is fast when you’re in the dining area and you can take food to your room if you prefer. The beds are super comfy and the rooms good if all you’re doing in sleeping and showering perfect for a work trip :
Rooms were clean but lacking.nJust a bed and a hard desk chair.nEvery other Pemier Inn I've stayed in has comfy chairs, there was plenty of space for them. When I spoke to staff, they had been taken out of the rooms, the staff were as confused as we were.nAlso there was a lack of hanging space I stayed 2 nights.nThe rooms looked tired.nMy mum had no hot water in her room, our bathroom fan didn't work.nThe shower curtain was so short, water went on the floor, this is with a fixed shower head.nThe rooms were not cleaned in the morning. And there were a LOT of dirty marks and chips on the walls.nnPlus side the rooms were of good size, the hotel is in a good location, there is parking, you have to pay but its quite cheap. £4.50 for 24 hours.nnSome of the staff were friendly, most were too busy to help us, especially checking in, which took too long, and we were passed on to 3 different members of staff.nAlthough I was staying in a twin room I wasn't even offered a spare key card. I went back later to get one with almost the same wait as the 1st time.nHowever when the lady who was struggling and busy calmed down, she was lovely.nThank you Premier Inn you're a good hotel chain, but unless improvements are made, we won't be coming back.
As everything from booking in and leaving is automated I can’t give service any more than a 2 star. It’s a five star central location but really does need a refit. It’s clean and I have no complaints about the cleaners but things are old and looking like they have been well used. The glasses in my room were disgusting. Nothing comfy to sit on, net curtains left much to be desired.nI felt like I paid a lot of money and got a cheap experiencenI know they all seem the same but this premier inn wasn’t a good one for me. I have stayed in much better premier inns. This was Nothing like the photos.nAnd yes I did find someone to change my room, the one in the photos is the one I was moved to, so I’ll let you imagine what the one I moved from was like
Please train Jaxon in customer service, I don’t know what the guys problem is, but every interaction with him was awkward. His whole demeanour is rude and abrupt. Everyone else was lovely.nnBreakfast was nice, but had to have 3 attempts at getting a cooked breakfast. Whilst waiting for the sausages, the eggs ran out - whilst waiting for the eggs, the bacon ran out. At any one given time, there wasn’t enough out for a family of 4 to have 1 of everything.nnRoom was clean and a good size. The only downside was even after turning off the air con and extractor fan, the noise from the vent kept me awake.
Great location, 2 minutes walk from city centre. Rooms air conditioned. It's a Premier Inn so you know what your getting.nStaff were fantastic, breakfast great as always. Let down by not having a seperate bar only bottle service.
