Father Raphael guided me when I was lost as a student in Edinburgh. Although agnostic myself, he regularly gave me his time to talk about theological and philosophical questions. He is a truly wise man. Though I would still not consider myself religious, I would highly recommend this community. The services are genuine and warm, as are the people who attend them. The members of this church genuinely and wholeheartedly live by the best of Christian ideals.
Great people. Authentic Orthodoxy which gets beyond mere nationalism. Very welcoming and spiritual people. A slice of heaven in wonderful liturgies. They also have regular classes in Orthodox Spirituality and Bible studies in situ or online.
Morning matins embracing the full mercy of God. The Priest father Raphael is very humble and welcoming. Situated in the centre of Edinburgh giving a memorable spiritual experience.
Should have had better security especially on Holy Saturday... Will not comment on the incident that scared quite a few of us. It’s a pity...
