Very helpful staff. We went to a Jazz concert and absolutely loved it. Good cakes, including gluten free.
Everyone is welcome for joining! A warm and supportive evangelical church, highly welcoming international students/people as well.
Great fun! Such a good night out at the Soulbox concert, epic sound lights and atmosphere! So great to be involved in a gathering of Christian youth in a modern and worshipful way which was really powerful!
A lovely cafe in a big airy space in the basement of Carrubbers Christian Centre. They sell good basic fare: soup, scones, sandwiches and coffee. The large sofas give a homely, welcoming feel. There is a children's play area for younger visitors. This cafe opens early and closes early afternoon so do check opening times.
Modern amplified worship musak, no psalms or grand old hymns of the faith. Yuk. If you are at home in warm fuzzy modern day evangelicalism then this will meet your needs, but if you are a strong non conformist you won't be happy here. The pastor is away on sabbatical. First time visitor.
Travelled up here from London just to see my favourite recording artist - Sara Groves! A very nice worship centre and they even gave festive treats during the interval.
Top rate, uncompromising and Christ-centred Bible teaching. Bible studies for women and also for men, plus good Bible teaching and healthy activities for children and young people. A very caring community of people too.
Excellent teaching. Bible focused. If you live here or are even just visiting for a few days then I would highly recommend.
Lovely, welcoming, faithful and genuine family of God, great uplifting worship.
Authentic church with solid teaching. Loved it!
