New to this place. Lovely bar, however it appears that the staff member has serious OCD because he keeps rearrangeing the chairs while also repeatedly using chemicals to mop the same area, making us sick with the chemical smell. Also, the pub welcomes dogs However, it was revolting when the dog peed on the carpet where we were sitting. I was curious about why he only mopped where we sat? Does he have an issue with people of colour? I will not come to this place again.
Just popped in recently to try the ‘Tapas’. Had the prawns. Unfortunately they were shocking! For some reason they were black, my friend actually thought they were chorizo!! They tasted rubbery and were luke warm, so obviously hadn’t been cooked fresh. I think they had been microwaved. Also there were 3 members of staff behind the bar area yet we still had to clear our glasses off the table ourselves as they didn’t come near us. Just a strange vibe all round. It’s very disappointing as I was looking forward to having a new Tapas place nearby. I’ll stick to the Eagle and the Duchess where they have decent food and friendly staff!
Me and my uncle who is here on hoilday from New Zealand, stopped by this pub for a few drinks . What a lovely friendly place . The lady was so nice thank you for the lovely chat I will definitely be back

Great friendly staff. Lovely food I do have to say the best Guinness I’ve had in a while to die for
The service was great, but the food was inversely in proportion with the service. Halfway in I was wondering if this place has similar opinion amongst the locals as our kebab place where I live. You don't see people ever eat there but once in a blue moon a fool mistaken it with proper food.
