About
The Adelaide has been converted into a modern 'gastro' pub, complete with open kitchen and dining room to the rear where an impressive feature chandelier sets the tone and is accentuated by wood panelling, a domed fire place and retro wallpaper.
"From the people who brought you the era defining George & Dragon, The Queen Adelaide opened on the site of a former knocking shop in 2015.Late nights by fairy lights are now a celebrated institution amongstEast London's 'in the know and up for it' types. For sustenance, there's Lipsmacking Colombian Empanadas and patacones, a small but perfectly formed cocktail list and wide range of spirits, wine list and draught ales and lager."

Awesome bar. It has a great vibe. A little cramped but that's par of it's charm. Looks awesome with loads of little do dats to look at. Has a dancefloor downstairs. The bar has a nice variety of different cocktails and beers. 10 out of 10 would go again
My friends and I ended up here randomly last Saturday night and we had lots of fun! Ground floor is chilled pub vibes and basement floor is where the music's playing and people are dancing. It's worth mentioning that the guys at the door bouncers were super friendly while doing their job, so that made our experience going in very nice.
I spent New Year's Eve here with a bunch of extremely awesome people! A fantastic and unforgettable night. It's under new management currently, that young man Josh is running it really well right now. Thank you London.
When you let us through you stopped at two persons of colour. One of you said it was because you were at capacity- as if eight would have been too many more than six. That you cut off the birthday girl. And it could’ve been anyone else. But then one of you said it was because these two were more intoxicated than anyone else- clearly not true. Then you tried to claim she was yelling and aggressive. But when my white friend yelled at you, you let her in to speak to the manager. Not the girl you should have let in. When she spoke up you said “don’t even go there”, “the managers girlfriend is black”. The same manager who ran behind shut doors when someone tried to confront you? And then in defence against what we were trying to get you to understand, you turned to the man, thanking him for being the only sober one enough to get what he was trying to do- the same man who moments ago you denied entry, because you decided he was too ‘intoxicated’. Please do better.
Update - weird security member who just talks about followers to the local nos sellers. Not the best vibes for getting in or a way to feel safe as an lgbt person when he’s taking about sleeping with girls and more. Could choose better security. Friendly local fuzz bar. Offering the latest in local talent and cultural discovery. Make this a stop off point on your London tour. So walking in was.. well not awkward like a usual gallery. No bag searches but also not screaming children. So the art didn’t just define the definition but also commanded the venue to present its self in its best light. A mix of brilliant AV and stunning acting skills makes this show a ‘MUST SEE IN LONDON’.
Quite surprising ! Haven’t danced in a long time so was a pleasure to find a dance floor downstairs. Not overpriced and good music !
This used to a Haberdashery shop which is now this lovley drinking hub. Am just writing this review for the lovely Agela who served us with such a warm smile and welcome. Would recommend this place if you are looking for a 1st Class service.
Amazing staff, LGBTQ environment with a quirky pub feel upstairs and club downstairs
Just stumbled across this lovely little bar completely by chance- deceptively unassuming on the outside, which makes it all the enjoyable to come in and find a wonderfully eclectic and quirky interior complete with a cosy, comfortable vibe. Definitely one I’ll be recommending to my crowd!
Lovely security and nice vibes inside! It's so important for queer spaces to be understanding when trans people cant present ID getting ur name and gender changed is h a r d. People inside were respectful and their toilets weren't gendered which was nice !! Big ups
