Mary, John, Toni and staff are so friendly and welcoming! Traditional pub with a great atmosphere! Good prices, great music and dancing. Keep up the good vibes x
Since it Re-opened in December I have been visiting regularly. I can honestly say this is my favorite pub in West London and is a bit of an institution. I’m so glad it’s back opened. The staff are fantastic and so welcoming. Such a good atmosphere whenever I have visited so felt compelled to leave a review!!!!
Great craic Lively atmosphere Mary and John are lovely hosts Very good staff
A proper pub nothing fancy or arty farty the managers are amazing and they have music on Friday nights. They also have a pool table !
Definitely a good place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere
I am upset to hear that from today the resident karaoke DJ Paul will no longer be with O'Donoghues. His karaoke set and incredible entertainment skills were what got me into the scene, turning me into a regular for 3 straight years. I have no doubt he will move onto greater things, but sadly due to new management he will no longer rock the socks off that place. I hope that the pub survives without him, and that his regulars who kept the place ticking over find another great venue for karaoke. Such a shame.
I like this place because it's got a lot of soul. Staff ante always nice and friendly, helpful too. There a big dave floor and the Guinness tastes good. One of the best pubs on West London for locals atmosphere.
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Sorry Mr new manager , we won't be back. O'donoghues for DJ Paul's Karaoke was an institution. I have always felt at home there every Friday, would bring friends, family, co- workers and even visitors from abroad telling them that this was what a real London pub should be like. Now it seems the end is near..... new management have done away with DJ Paul in favor of a new dj or something if this is the case and if the new DJ is reading this, you need all the luck in the world and then some, DJ Paul is more than a hard act to follow. I worry about the changes this will bring, for so many regulars this night brought stability, familiarity, a place where everyone knew your name and would cheer each other on no matter how good or how bad your song went. I strongly suspect this is just the first step in taking the pub away from the locals and regulars and turning it into yet another God-awful Gastropub/ Hipster hang out. As if London needs any more of that. New Management would do well to realise that this pub served the interests of the local people and DJ Paul's Karaoke was certainly at the heart of it. Paul, where you go, we shall follow taking our money for drinks with us.
They have great live music and v cheap drinks. I loved the Irish folk band that came winter 2016
A proper Irish pub although I moved away to Eastbourne it's a place I'll always go back too . Hope Jerry and mags are fine
