According to UNESCO, Macclesfield is the official Western end of the ancient Silk Road and this is the place to show you Macc's silky heritage. Lovely place to visit! Also: it has one of the prettiest cinemas on the top floor (it's an old Sunday School and their assembly hall is now a cinema and a super-sweet one).
