Fantastic little museum, had a couple of rides on the little train. Had a look at the engines in the sidings, operated some signals and walked round the museum. Also a fantastic place to view modern trains coming in and out of crewe junction.

Great set of locomotives to view, including the famous APT in all its glory. There are also some brilliant model railways to view and unobstructed views of the WCML from the rooftop of the signal box. Well worth a visit.

The volunteers and staff here are amazing! Can not rate this place high enough. Really made our day special. Thank you so much! Side note: they are closed from the end of September until Easter. It doesn’t state this on Google maps so thought it best to put it out there ;)

A great railway museum in the apex of the West Coast Main Line and the line to Chester. Lots of locomotives on display. The miniature railway is an interesting and unusual layout. The old signal box is well preserved and great for watching train on the main line.

Nice place to go for a cheap day out. It's run by volunteers who are all really friendly and passionate, If you love trains then you have to visit here. I've only recently been here and wish I had visited it sooner.
