Great museum. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the aircraft tours. I did the Vulcan and Lancaster tour, which were both superb. The staff are very knowledgeable about the aircraft and will answer any questions you might have. Sitting in a Vulcan bomber was a lifelong dream. They also have a Vulcan in anti-flash white paint parked outside!

Lovely little museum detailing the history of Avro. Lots of detailed exhibits, and the guided cockpit tours were very informative. The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable, and enjoy sharing their knowledge. The little cafe is small, but offers a good place to sit and ponder what you've seen, surrounded by photos of every Vulcan built. Looking forward to seeing how they will grow! Our two-year old had a blast.

A great way to keep the aviation memory of Woodford alive. Its an important hub of information which is delivered by very helpful and polite volunteers who all have experience in the aviation industry. Very child friendly and has a lovely cafe where you can enjoy refreshments whilst overlooking the MK 1 Vulcan parked just outside of the panoramic seating area. Keep up the good work Avro and thanks.

Brilliant place, very well laid out and the knowledge of the volunteers is amazing. Would have given 5 stars but I've been many times and sorry to say but the woman on the desk at the entrance is abrupt and at times unpleasant. And don't make a suggestion as you will be shot down in flames! Apart from her, a visit here is amazing and must be kept open, they have done a wonderful job.

Definitely book the cockpit tours! It's clear that this is a labour of love for the staff here, and their enthusiasm and knowledge is infectious! A real hidden gem of a place
