Friendly host, reasonably comfortable room, good breakfast. Not the Ritz by any means, but good value accommodation.

The owner welcomed my two spaniels, even though it was chucking it down. He was full of local information and the room was really warm. He excelled himself when, because of high winds, I couldn't get a train, so he gave me some home-made soup and drove me Carlise. He even wanted me to ring to check I was home safely. Great.
