Over the years, most people came to the Gowlett for their pizzas which were superb. I hadn't been in around 7 years and was pleasantly surprised to find that they still served pizzas. I ordered the American hot. It wasn't quite as good as it used to be and they are now making the pizzas smaller. They serve draft beer, cask ale and wine. Kid friendly and they have a selection of board games to play.
Take a saunter down this residential road and find great Guinness, perfect pizza and a fun-loving crowd. Yes, it's a bit overly alliterative but hey, it's a nice review.
Came last night and enjoyed it; had an American hot pizza and drinks with friends. Pub was vibey and played really good funky music.
Nice boozer, with a pool table. Not sure why they have to do a 3 part pour for Guinness though. I don't think the Guinness brew master in Dublin would approve.
Nice community pub with friendly service and dj's on several evenings.
Amazing local pub, lovely staff, delicious pizza and all at a great price. Cannot recommend enough. London would be dead without these places. If I could leave 10 stars, I would.

Been a few times and the gowlett arms is becoming synonymous with pizza night! They are wonderful - crisp, light well yknow... for a pizza. A decent pub otherwise - better when it's a bit cooler outside was quite warm indoors in the midst of a heatwave, can get pretty rammed and noisy Friday/weekends.
Excellent pizza, super thin crispy base with tippy top tastic toppings. Great range of booze too and staff dead on!! Thanks for a top evening
Nice pub, good atmosphere and with tasty pizzas : There was four of us with baby and toddler and we had a fun time. Also recently refurbed - there is a little outside back beer garden, and seating outside front, good toilets and room for decks & speakers
