My wife decided to go for lunch there as we have not been there for years. I asked if they done gluten free and was told no problem. We both ordered the beef burger with chips one being gluten free. The barmaid said she would check if they do it gluten free? I said it says you do on the menu? When it came out the gluten free one had no gluten free roll or bread? I questioned this and she said I didn’t think you would want any. Normally you would get a gluten free bun or toasted bread. So she went and got me some gluten free bread not toasted or fully defrosted. When we finished I asked for the bill. 2 x small bottles of tonic water came to £5, £2.50 for a small bottle of tonic water. You can get a large bottle for less than £1.00 in a supermarket. We will not be going there again.

It is a wonderful English pub. The fish and chips were greasy and delightful. The pilsner was great. I had 3 flavors of creme brulee. They were all incredible

A fairly limited menu but the food is always very tasty and well presented. Nice draft beer also. Parking can be difficult when busy.
