Had our wedding here! What can I say Amazing from how lovely Holly was arranging our day with us beforehand to how amazing the staff were decorating the night before, some even coming in from home to help decorate and always checking we were happy throughout. The little things from bringing the little one strawberry’s so she wasn’t upset, to carrying my carvery so I didn’t spill on my dress, to decorating and putting our photo booth and sweet table out. I want to thank every single member of staff from myself and my Husband for every thing they did for us to make our day as special as it was. I would recommend to anyone to have their wedding here, it is amazing value for money and the best service we could of ever asked for!! �

Another great meal. Sirloin Steak with all the trimmings served on a hot cook your own steak. Same for 4 people each with a drink just over £50 TOTAL

Lovely room for a night, lady who look after us so lovely and kind. Breakfast was nice can have much you want.

Room was comfy, though windows were single glazed so quite cold (electric heater was provided) and could hear road noise. As it's an old building floorboards also noisy and walls are thin so the sound travels, particularly when guests retiring to their rooms after last orders. Quite nice to have a key to a door which allows you to come and go without walking through the bar itself. But, Holly and her team are very welcoming and it is a nice place to sit and have a beer. Beer on that note was decent too. Breakfast was good and the selection of exotic meats available for dinner very unique (zebra, kangaroo etc). Certainly won't be for all tastes but for a 1 or 2 night stay it does the job nicely.

Although they were given our menu choices in advance I am sorry say the food was cold or not properly cooked. They realised things had not gone well and gave us our desserts free of charge. Service was very slow
