Met by the owner Richard who was delightful and clearly very used to dogs. We were well informed about site regs and area history & places to go. Richard was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Some lovely walks to go on and a great pub just a short 5 min walk away . The site is perfect for dogs as caravan is pitched in your own very large fenced gated area . X2 shire horses are on site which are Beautiful to gaze at and so nearby . All in all we are so happy to have found such a perfect little dog friendy site and will be back
Absolutely great for us dog lovers, your own fenced off padock of a good size. The dogs 4 are just left to themselves, it's their holiday also. Definitely coming back.
If you have dogs and love caravanning this is the perfect site. We spent 2 nights there last weekend and it was by far the best dog friendly site we have ever been to. We were given the family pitch all to ourselves which was massive and our 2 golden retrievers were able to have a massive area to roam free and never have to be on leads. There are amazing walks straight from the site, we did a walk over to Hornton which after we got though the first field with cows was completely dog safe as no livestock or roads so they were off lead the whole time and loved it. We walked to the Dun Cow which was an amazing pub and food was first class. We will definitely be booking again.
Large enclosed dog-friendly pitches but all on more or less of a slope. Toilet basic, no showers or washing up. Tap water of questionable quality as owner said drink only bottled water.
This is an amazing site situated in a lovely quiet village. Each pitch is its own fenced in field. If you have dog/s or small children it is perfect as they can't escape and get hurt. There are 2 pitches that are big enough to have a family group of multiple caravans/tents. Richard is helpful and very funny.
What a fantastic little site, all enclosed pitches, owner Richard and Site Manager Mike always there when needed but left us to enjoy our holiday. Definitely a hidden gem that we will return too. Good luck for the rest of the season it has been an absolute pleasure.
Just had a wonderful week highly recommended but we did have a Coco escape she went through the metal railing and went into no_mans land between the paddocks but she is only small and like Adventures. It was peaceful and Richard couldn't to enough Highly recommend
Quite possibly my favourite site to date. Facilities are basic with only a toilet onsite but where else can do you get your own fully fenced field?! The site is so peaceful but you are close enough to local amenities. We stayed in our motorhome. Each pitch has EHU and tap. We had to fill up using watering can and drain grey waste into a carrier but no big deal. Local pub is 5 mins walk away. It doesn't do food but has fantastic beer garden. Food pubs are a short drive away but we didn't sample. Will definitely be back!
We stayed here in August last year, my partner went to moto gp and stayed at the caravan with my 4 collies, we had a fantastic time with a double size pitch the dogs were in heaven. Basic site but the guy who runs it goes out of his way to make your stay even more pleasurable. My only worry is that too many people will discover this place and we will never get in.
A lovely secluded quite site. Very friendly and helpful. A delightful stay with our two dogs who seemto enjoy the freedom of our personal pen. Highly recommend.
