I have been going to Henfold for a number of years and can't recommend it enough. Lynn, Dave, Colin and the team in the tackle shop made me and my partner feel very welcome as novice caravaners, nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Over the years I have come to know them as friends. The bonus is the fab fishing lakes. I can truly say I have learned everything I know from fishing at Henfold. I enjoy lake 1 where I won my very first fishing match after a year of fishing, and also lake five for its tranquility and back to nature feel. Many of the long term and regular caravaners have also become very good friends and bowels on the grass, Wimbledon, model plane flying, and summer barbeques have been some of the highlights of my weekends camping there. The bait shop also run by Alison and Dave is a little gem and nothing is too much trouble, both often going out of their way to mend a broken pole or to teach a novice lady angler about floats, poles, rods and baits. Thank you all at Henfold, a gem of a fishing and camping site. Highly recommended. Well done!
