Fantastic location, in the heart of the forest. Rooms and facilities were perfectly acceptable - the bunk bed mattresses were surprisingly comfortable!

Nice setting. Great location. Friendly staff. Aside from Dan, the manager. So unfriendly and grumpy, he can't even be bothered to say the basics. Good morning, goodbye, or hello. A truly obnoxious individual. If he is antisocial, this job isn't for him. If he's jaded, he should move on. Either way, he shouldn't be at the hostel. His unpleasant nature dragging the otherwise welcoming atmosphere of the hostel down. Awful.

Lots of extras on and around the grounds. I stayed in the hostel (not camping) and it was great. They have a small, but well built kitchen available. Comfortable, sturdy beds, friendly and very helpful staff. They have a small shop available during regular hours with things you may need. Large social area, with comfy seating, next to the kitchen (also dining area). Amazing views and surrounding forest area.

We have been camping and staying at hostels for 17 years. This one is by far the worst we have ever been to. We were not allowed to move the tables so our group was not able to sit together. In other places the staff would help to move the tables. Here, they seem more like little dictators and almost annoyed to even have guests
