The Nightingale, funnily enough, on Nightingale Lane! A splendid venue by Young's & Co. A gorgeous bar with plenty of nooks and crannies in which to enjoy a beer or two. Lovely staff to help with the aforementioned task! There is a delightful covered garden terrace at the back with loads of seating. All in all a most delightful place to visit.
Not been here since the mid 1970's. Various alterations but still the same pub. Nice garden at rear. £5.15 for a pint of ordinary seems a bit steep.
A very cool pub, bit of a walk to get too but worth it, fairly busy and a bit pricey. But the foot is fantastic, one of the best fidh and chips I have had in a while. Defernetly recommend the Chicken wings. 4.6/5
Fabulous pub with classic ambiance, delicious food and lots of seating suitable for all the seasons. There is a lovely open air space at the back and cosy seating inside. Definitely recommend if you fancy proper pub grub and more of a community feel than somewhere on a main road.
Really enjoyed our family Sunday lunch. Great staff. Great food. Ambiance just right for a chilled, long lunch. Thank you to the team at The Nightingale. The reviews are right, great place to eat.
Roast beef was a bit dry and the cauliflower cheese was tiny for the price. Other than that, the pub has a nice vibe and staff was very friendly.
Tasty food. Great outdoors seats tables. However nobody seem to worry about Covid 19. Waiter waitress bar staff nobody wear mask or face shield Just hand sanitizer provided front of the toilet. During all dinner I did not notice even once no one to clean or sanitise tables and benches.
Stopped off for a beer with a friend. First visit. Pleasant, quiet, good beer choice, helpful staff. Will visit again when next in the area. Thank you Nightingale.
Definitely the worst roast I have had in a SW London pub. Boot leather beef, flavourless cauliflower cheese. Very poor quality food which was highly disappointing
Really nice traditional style pub. Lovely food and service. Highly recommended
