A warm welcoming pub, a bit pricey, a pint of lager and half a cider was a shade under £10. Only a few people when we were there. I guess most people use wetherspoons these days which is understandable.
A first visit to to this wonderful establishment, although I have passed on many an occasion, usually Sunday when it is closed... Such is life!. Delightful London Street corner pub with a vast array of beers both cask and keg wines and spirits. Lovely welcoming staff to go with a good pint, what more could you ask? I enjoyed my pint here and will enjoy another soon. I recommend you do the same.
The bar is very good, and the service staff are also very good, but 44 pounds for 2 glasses of whiskey, which may be a single shot, is really expensive.
Stumble upon during a Fri stagger, good northern beers available great staff and service.
Lovely old school pub, nice to find one in the midst of all the hipster places and cocktail bars
Classic English corner pub. Good for a quick pint after work. Guinness quality award too. Guinness 6/10
Came across this place by accident. What a find. Nice range of ales and a pleasant atmosphere for conversation. Friendly staff. Nice old London pub.
Expensive to get there, half an hour queue to buy a ridiculously expensive drink, and not enough seats. I'm partially disabled, and nobody gave up their seat for me. Couldn't wait to get there, Couldn't wait to leave.
Small, busy, cheerfully noisy pub with music and good beer.
Good little boozer. Narrow but long and a bit crowded but we found space upstairs. Aspalls on tap so all good.
