A great overnight stay! Was here for one night while on a trip. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. Very nice room with a tall shower which is always appreciated for us tall folks. Very good AC that cooled the room quickly. Free breakfast was included for being Diamond, and one of the best I have had in a hotel. Everything was being cooked fresh behind the buffet. Tons of options from various international cuisines. Both self serve and waiter service drinks. Free mimosas included! Great central location, with several tube stops nearby. Will definitely return again!
Great stay with excellent accommodations. Super friendly and helpful staff as well that set up rides too and from Heathrow for us. The inside of the hotel is very clean as were the rooms. Rooms were nice sized with comfortable bed along with mini-fridge. The hotel is located right off Trafalgar Square and is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Churchill War rooms, most of the theaters and so much more. If it's too far to walk, the tube is very easy to navigate and many lines are easily within walking distance of this location. There rooftop bar was also very nice. If you want to sit outside, get there a little early. We ended up sitting inside with a nice window view when arriving at around 9:30-10. On return visits to London, I'm not sure there would be a reason to look for a different stay and I would definitely recommend! Staff, amenities, location, etc... were all A+.
I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons. This hotel exceeded our expectations! The location is perfect! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to. It is very centrally located. But more than the location is the staff! They are so professional and go above and beyond to make your staff perfect! If I could give more than a 5 star I would. We love this hotel and would highly recommend it if you are visiting London.
Well, Hilton hotels always meet the high expectations worldwide. Great hotel, best location, excellent service from the entire staff. The breakfast was fantastic, the roof bar was great! Yet, the room itself was quite dark, perhaps the lighting is for the romantic couple : but in a family room we would expect a little more light. Other than that, everything was perfect.
I have been lucky enough to stay in some wonderful hotels in London, but the Trafalgar St. James is now my favorite place to stay in the city. From the amazingly welcoming and friendly staff, to our large and comfortable room, there was nothing we didn't like about our stay. In fact, we stayed a week longer than we originally booked for. Considering the high quality of the hotel, the price per night was incredibly reasonable and much less expensive than other hotels with similar qualities. Plus you cannot beat the location as you are literally next door to Trafalgar Square and it's many train stations and buses. I highly recommend this hotel.
The Trafalgar was unbelievable, the whole experience from the hotel was literally 5*. As I was checking in I was told I would be upgraded free of charge which the room we were upgraded to was 2x the price of our original room. When we left to adventure in the day we would come back to the bathroom mats ready on the floor for a shower or bath. The pillows were fluffed, slippers beside the bed and also a glass on the beside cabinet along with a bottle of water. Everything in the room was complimentary, from the mini bar to the Molton Brown toiletries. The location of the hotel was perfect, slap bang next to Trafalgar Square, everything was walking distance or via tube. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay again without hesitation.
Fantastic location. Passable accommodations. This is not a five-star hotel. The staff was nice enough and two were very nice. The hotel is in an optimal location. It’s across the street from Trafalgar Sq. That puts you walking distance to Theatre districts, Piccadilly, Soho, and sightseeing like Parliament and Big Ben. However, the rooms are very small we got a premier family room for four which was the size of a twin room anywhere else- very cramped. Likewise, there’s no lobby to hang out in- leaving you few options within the hotel for space. For that reason, not a five star hotel.
One of the best accommodation from London Very nice hotel, with a perfect location to see all the important sightseeing of London. The room was very spacious especially for London and impeccable cleaned every single day. Fabulous breakfast with all you want including a la carte order. The rooftop bar has great cocktails and a nice view. Last but not the least all the staff was very kind and helpful from the beginning till the end. Thank you once again for all the staff of The Trafalgar St James and keep up the good work.
Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure will love it I'm sure! Very friendly service in all areas. Rockwell bar has a nice outlook, bright airy with excellent decor and good choice of drinks.
