Came here for a Christmas meal, I forgot to pay for the deposit but the lady in charge was still trying to ask the kitchen to see if they have anything that day, she was very helpful and the staff kept coming to check if the food is good. Everything was tasty and will definitely come back!
I was there for s late lunch and get a burger with salted beef on top. Really good, well presented. Beer is good. Also the italian guy who served me was gentle
I visited the Early Beatty very recently and was significantly impressed by the high level of customer service from all members of staff who were kind, respectful and very welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic and was thoroughly enjoyed by all members of my family and myself. I highly recommend a visit - a friendly and exciting place to be! Particular credit to Brandon, Henry, Marilisa, Monika and Sam who were amazing throughout :
Visited Earl Beatty for the first time today. Me & my Partner had the most wonderful evening. The food was amazing, good quality, tasty and well made. The service was outstanding, the barman who’s name I believe was Brandon is very knowledgeable and recommended my new favourite IPA. I will most definitely be spending a lot of time watching football there and feeding me Partner good food to keep her happy! Highly recommended
Love the make over that place has made, If you fancy having a few drinks and watching any games its a good place to go. Personally, I rate the food as poor, and the price I pay doesn’t really reflect the quality. I give it the benefit of the doubt and visited the 2nd time and the feeling still the same. Hopefully they will be able improve the food quality in the future.
Great local pub! Bar staff are great, food and drink selection is amazing and so reasonably priced for the area!! The beer garden is great in the summer too- loads of space, outdoor TV and always got a great playlist going.
This pub is going from strength to strength. In years gone by, drinking here was a pretty grim experience but now you are assured a warm welcome, highly efficient service, good food and really well-kept real ales. The autumn refurbishment is smart yet cosy.
Haven't been over for over a year. Really impressed with the facelift the whole place has had. Lovely make over. Place really looks well. Bright and modern. Toilets have had a long overdue refurbish and they are vastly improved. Few nice seating areas created. Loads of plug sockets installed with USB sockets too. All in all, same friendly atmosphere in the place, but so much more pleasant environment to be enjoying it in!
The refurbished Earl Beatty feels cosy and the staff are welcoming. We enjoyed a birthday lunch celebration there and, despite it being busier than usual due to the World Cup, staff were efficient and helpful. Good food too. I'll be going back soon.
On Sunday 4th Dec, arriving at 12:00pm, on a previously booked table, no other table at all at that time. Pub was nearly empty. We order food for 8 6 adults + 2 child's. Two of the orders arrived in 15/20 minutes, the rest took more than 45 minutes "after that". I insist, 45 minutes after the first 2 orders arrived, which means 1 hour wait with the Pub empty. Absolutely unacceptable. No excuses. The Chef, with all the due respect, has no idea of how to manage a kitchen. As simple as that. Our Christmas lunch fully broken and unpleasant. STAY WELL AWAY FOR CHRISTMAS LUNCH/DINNERS !!!!!!
