The Natural Philosopher is a neighbourhood cocktail bar in Bethnal Green on Hackney Road apparently themed after a Mac repair shop random but pretty cool!. The main bar area is down a small flight of stairs with the bar lowered into a well in the ground. Excellent cocktails and fantastic service. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful hidden away spot for intimate drinks. Spend all evening or just pop in for one or two cocktails. This place is special every time you go. Not sure what to get? Ask the super friendly and knowledgable bar staff, they'll steer you in the right direction. Can't talk enough about this bar. Book ahead too if you can.

Incredible service and drinks with an incredibly thought out menu. Decor is phenomenal and the music is always on point.

Wonderful drinks - one of the best Manhattans. Super well priced, does amazing creative picklebacks too. And great hospitable, warm and fun service. Very covid secure, masked and distanced too. Found a new favourite place!

Came through for the first time at the beginning of Cocktail week, such a great little bar. We were looked after by Amir, service and drinks were as good as it gets.

Great quirky place, highly recommended for relaxed unusual atmosphere and the strange sunken bar. Very friendly and welcoming service.

This cocktail bar has a chilled, relaxed environment. Music has a great vibe. The staff tonight was lovely and attentive. Really chilled environment. Delicious cocktails. Would really recommend. Staff make it. Thanks for a good time xx
