The Morgan Arms

Story

The Morgan Arms is situated close to Mile End Tube and a short stroll to Victoria Park. This quirky pub is on a quiet, tree-lined street, just off swanky Tredegar Square. The Morgan has a beautiful carved wooden bar, which overlooks a wonderful array of books and vast stained glass windows. It was the winner of the Evening Standard Pub of the Year in 2005 and has since become an institution for the locals.

What really makes The Morgan stand out from other pubs in the area is the commitment to deliver fabulous food, fine wine & real ales in a friendly environment. The food comprises mainly of British favourites, along with daily specials. The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Be sure to lap up our famous Sunday roast, which is considered to be the best in Bow.

I simply miss this place a lot. A lot of enjoyable moments guaranteed by a friendly staff, nice food and a great atmosphere in general.
Good covid measures and attentive staff. Very slightly disappointed with my main course pan fried seabass as it was luke warm but husbands meal was lovely. We would go back.
Great gastro pub! Have been for Sunday lunch and an evening meal and both have been fab! Staff are friendly and accommodating the food has been tasty and good value in my opinion - big portions sizes.
Excellent gastropub. Food was absolutely fantastic! Excellent value for money. Very efficient booking service at last minute. Friendly staff.
Great place to enjoy your Sunday roast. Choices include chicken, roast beef and pork belly with vegetable sides and gravy. Great atmosphere with best service.
A very nice local pub that serves a good range of beer and gourmet pub food. Really enjoyed my visit
We had a fab meal last week, Frankie who looked after us was fab and made our experience even better! The vegan burger is incredible, I nearly sent it back because I couldn’t believe it wasn’t meat !
Great Sunday lunch - big hunk of chicken, excellently cooked veg, great pint of bitter on the side.
