We was looking forward to eat at George's. In fact we was excited to get a table at short notice. May be that was what went wrong. Perhaps our food would of been served on hot plates that would of kept our food warm for longer. It was unfortunate that the coffee machine broke down that day. Otherwise we may well have have a hit drink waiting for our food to arrive. It was great to see that some dinners had a meet and greet welcome at the door. They were almost dismissive when their coats were taken to be hung up by the waiting staff. We would have felt really quite special to have the same privilege. But any way our coats remained with us hung over the chair or slumped on the adjacent chair seat. Of course it was our first visit. We're not famous either. But we did expect to experience better table service. I really don't complain that often as I find it very embarrassing. Let's say the food and coffee was hot, I'd of been happy to give a good review. I can live without the A List Pampering, I guess because I not a celebrity. Anyway, I hope your dinning experience exceeds your expectations.

Terrible customer service. Been eating here for 10 years and been very happy in the past until recent visit with the family. Arrived at 6.15pm for the early 2 course meal offer. On leaving was charged the full price which worked pretty much double ! Complained on the night to be told by time our order went in the system it was just after 6.30pm. No Lee way just a flat well its over this time so nothing we can do. I emailed the following day with no reply over a week later and messaged via social media to no reply. Not one to leave negative feedback but after a customer of 10 years I feel very let down. Nothing to do with money at all... just the attitude and no reply to messages after going there for so long. Such a shame as the food is very nice.

I was very pleased with the service. The food is good, exactly what you would expect from an establishment on this level. Very good wine list! It was a bit too noisy for my licking. I would highly recommend purely based on exceptional service.

Great food, poor service. We were left without a drink for 10 minutes before I got the waitress attention to ask for the wine list. We ordered a bottle of wine prior to the fillet steak arriving at our table, by the time we had finished our main course the wine had yet to arrive. Not once were we asked how our food was or if we would like another drink. We skipped deserts due to the poor service. When the bill arrived we were charged for the wine we never received.

Had the most delicious mothers day meal here today not only was the food amazing but all the staff were too nothing was too much trouble for them . Cannot recommend George's enough . So pleased my daughter chose George's for my mother's day treat
