The Moon was recommended to me by a local B&B Im staying at this week.
Very friendly staff and the food is Outstanding!! This is not your standard "Pub Grub" Compliments to the chef it's evident there is years of experience behind the plate of food I've just devoured!

Cannot recommend The Moon highly enough, warm friendly traditional Herefordshire pub. Alan and his team have quite a number of locals that add to the character of the place. Been a number of times and never tire of the welcome we always receive. 
Food is traditional pub grub, and plenty of it, consistently good quality, so go hungry!
Great selection of beers wines and spirits too, be prepared to get involved in Darts, domino's or cards. 
The pace is laid back but attentive, perfect.

It was fine for a quick lunch time bite. The staff were attentive and the lunch arrived promptly. The food was standard pub fare and unremarkable. The prices seemed reasonable. £17.50 for midweek lunch for two.
