As an experienced Chinese food eater, I can say I am disappointed in the Wing Sing. After being deprived of Chinese food for two and a half years I was so excited to get back into the beautiful cuisine. I rang up to order at 6:30pm and was told to come pick the food up at 7:20pm. 40 minutes seemed a reasonable wait on a Saturday night so I agreed, and off my friend went for 7:20pm driving so excited to get our Saturday munch. However, the excitement quickly turned into sadness, when on arrival at the Wing Sing, she had to wait until 8:10pm for the food! Can you imagine how it feels when you’re so hungry, mouth watering, and excited to eat but you have to wait 1 hour 40 minutes!! We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt though as we were salivating and thought it would be worth the horrendous wait. But hey they say bad luck comes in threes because when we opened the food, we discovered the order was wrong and the pork balls were ridiculously over cooked, might as well call the sweet and sour sauce - sour sauce. The bbq sauce was just liquid salt, and it ruined the meaty ribs 😪 a lovely deep red sticky sauce is what I had in mind, but never mind. On a lighter note the chips were lovely and the duck curry was okay, but again it did taste like they may have accidentally tipped the salt into the cooking pot. My first experience back into the Chinese cuisine wasn’t a good one, but fear not I won’t give up, but next time I will go somewhere else.

Ok... so before I start I want to say that I admire the wing sings persistence of business when they have to compete with the likes of the humming gardens or the ruby but the fact remains that the curry at the wing sing is wayyyy to salty. As well as this the portions of chips are small to say the most and cost too much for what you get, the cod isn't there it is just a soggy shell of batter and the workers have the audacity of claiming they are the best when clearly they arnt. They have no passing trade in their location and people only ever go there for chips (which by the way, there is usually an hour line for). Finally the young lad behind the counter ( commonly known as Brendan) doesn't smile as he takes your order and makes me feel unwelcome and lots of others in sure. Would not recommend under any circumstances due to the humming garden being in such a close proximity. I did however choose to give it 5 stars because someone has to. Brendan's a G 💪🏽👍🏾💥✌🏾️

Although menu not as extensive as other Chinese / Fish & Chip takeaways always good food. Sometimes a little wait whilst food cooked fresh. They do take telephone orders to reduce any waiting time when collected. Always friendly staff.
