We went in to get a takeaway, and was glad as I would not choose to eat in here. The decor is very basic with cheap black and white tables with no cloths, or mats. Uncomfortable looking chairs, quite stark with an odd aroma. Also very noisy and loud. The staff, were excessive in their attentiveness, which although not as bad as being ignored, was still very annoying when we were deciding what to have, as we had not been there before and needed a good look at the menu. Eventually we ordered, and paid. We returned half an hour later to collect and take home. We were a bit hesitant about it once home, but the food had been recommended to us by a friend. We were glad they had. The food was lovely and delicious. Decent portions well cooked, moist and tasty. Best of all, not swimming in grease like from our usual takeaway. Would definitely recommend for a takeaway. But unsure about eating in.

First visit here. Decor, food & service were excellent. Highly recommended, will definitely be back. Standards in all areas very high & price was more than reasonable. Well done to all the staff at Marygold.

Amazing. So I’m posting from the Marygold now. Food 5 Star Service 5 Star Presentation and environment 4.9 Star (Music was a bit loud for my liking but I’m being picky) Hereford needs more attention to detail businesses like this. Well done guys. I hope you can make it work.

The staff were fantastic!very attentive and funny!we were celebrating two birthdays and enjoyed every minute. We were bought Ice cream, bowl of sweets and all given a complementary Bailey's after payment. The only thing I would change would be that the music would be turned down a notch! Will definatly be returning as the food was scrummy and great value for money!
