Dennis and his family have been very helpful accommodating my father's mobility needs. They are very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. We bought a scooter in February when it was freezing. They made sure my 86 year old dad was able to check out all the scooters with rides around the locality then kept him warm in the office while I had to take a call. Lovely people!

I purchased a secondhand mobility scooter from the shop in 2015. When I purchased the scooter I was told that part of the package I would get would be brand new batteries that were the correct size for the mobility scooter. I looked after the scooter and charged the scooter in the way that I was told to by the shop. I have been surprised that in the last few months the scooter has not been doing anywhere near as well as I would expect. So I took it to be serviced by a another local mobility shop. They opened the scooter in front of me and I was shocked to discover that the batteries on the scooter were the wrong batteries for the scooter. On my scooter they should be 50 AH hour batteries, as per the manufacturers specifications. The batteries that were on the scooter were 34 AH batteries. This is why the batteries have only lasted two years on my scooter and in the last few months I have barely been getting 2 miles out of my scooter. When you look where the batteries are on the scooter you can see that the batteries are physically the wrong size for the scooter. I have a photograph that shows the difference of the size of the two different types of batteries, the old 34 AH batteries and the new 50 AH batteries. The person who removed the old batteries even said he thought they were not only two years old. He thinks they were older batteries not new when I purchased the scooter. Being a disabled person you have to trust the people who are serving you with mobility products and you have to be able to trust that what they are telling you is true. Overall I would not recommend this shop because it seems that they are very friendly when you first go there but after you deal with them for a while you realise that they are cutting corners.

Spoke to Dennis over the phone, I asked him if I can order a wheelchair on a sale and return basis so I have no obligation to purchase the wheelchair in advance as I need to try it out first to ensure it suits my needs. He said "No one here will do that for you", I asked "Is it because you are a small business?" and then he was rude and said "I have nothing more to say to you, find someone else to do this for you" and hung up!!! I was taken back by this as I was only enquiringly for the first time, not a nice impression. Won't call for anything in the future. They have lost a potential customer
