We were a reasonably large group of 11 and were seated outside. We very much appreciated the patio heaters which are on timers and available for the patrons to operate. Service was good especially considering our group's size. The menu isn't that big but there were a few specials and everyone found something to their taste. The food was a decent quality, a few minor niggles much nothing which spoilt the evening. Would definitely consider going back again.
This is an excellent pub. The food is great and the vegan options were well thought out menu items. Service was quick and friendly despite it being as busy as it could be. Well done to everyone at The Mill
Katie, Mina and Lorenzo were superb as was the the food and atmosphere for Sunday lunch. Thoroughly recommend. The big roast did not disappoint.!
We visited yesterday for lunch and were impressed by the range of vegan options. The vegan "meat"ball sub was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu
Great pub with a slightly non-standard menu no burgers!. However, the food is fantastic, as are the desserts. Didn't miss burgers at all. Dog-friendly as well. We went on Father's Day, and received a nice card and some hand-made treats. Great pub, we'll be back.
Went to the Mill this lunchtime with my elderly father and grandchildren and daughter. We had booked a table and I explained that he had limited mobility. The waitress that served us was superb friendly and though the pub was packed the service was good . Food was excellent and would have no qualms on taking my dad there the next time we visit. Well done the place looks amazing after visiting Haselmere for the last 25 years it nice to be sure we have a lovely place to eat . Congratulations
We had a small family reunion last week and the Mill was simply prefect. The staff, the atmosphere and the food were all far above expectations. Honestly, the waitstaff could not have been more attentive and helpful. Thank you all for making our outing so special
Very dog friendly. Rather expensive for the level of service and quality of food. It seems that they are relying on a reputation earned in the past and not trying to maintain or improve the experience. For example the glass in the log burner was broken last Summer and has not been mended, so no log burner for the Winter
Absolutely lovely waitress called Kelly who was bubbly and attentive. We couldn't have asked for more from her. Every time we looked up she was busy doing a thousand things and it really stood out. Food was lovely as always. Only caveat was occasionally things were a little slow with food waiting times.
Staff are happy and helpful Drink is like any other pub not quite a pint. Food on mother's day was disgraceful I have eaten better food at McDonald's. Portion sizes made me think perhaps I had ordered from a kids menu but when they say shoulder of lamb it means ankle.
