Recently taken over by one of the big chains that are gradually destroying traditional English pubs and the have ruined one of the best pubs in Shoreham!

Not often I score 5 stars, but this place has it nailed. Friendly welcoming guy behind the bar, good selection of real ales, had fish, chips & peas, was well cooked, hot and a good size portion. Came with all the condiments, and I didn't expect barman to check my meal was ok (as I'm sure he knew it was) but he did! Background music varied but not too loud which created a nice warm atmosphere. Friendly comfortable pub that welcomes all.

Have been a fairly regular user of this pub but since the new owners have taken over they become a little bit expensive compared with other pubs in the area.
